Hanukkah And Christmas Tree Cutting

December 12, 2020Daily PostMore from 2020

Some Hanukkah fun for two nights, the annual Christmas tree cutting for the family tree, and some painting of Dad’s toes!

Hanukkah Nights

The girls took turns lighting the menorah each night, so careful with the candles and so proud when they were all glowing. Then of course came the presents! Thumbs up for the Inventor kit and new horses, gymnastics Barbies doing flips on the balance beam, and matching nail art kits that were a huge hit.

Christmas Tree Cutting

Then it was time for our annual trip to the Christmas tree farm. We all bundled up in our rubber boots, walked the rows to find the perfect tree, and everyone took a turn with the saw. We celebrated with hot cocoa by the fire pit. Such a fun family tradition!

Painting Dad’s Toes

And those new nail art kits got put to work right away. Dad volunteered his feet (sort of) and the girls gave me the fanciest pedicure in town. Rainbow toes for the holidays!
