Super proud of wifey and killing it at the Dinosaur Valley Ultra. We all had fun crewing and supporting her for the chilly run. The cousins got to hang, camp, roast marshmallows, play and cheer on Christine together. Thank you Amy for traveling to be her pacer. Thank you Jen, Joe and family for crewing and not missing a loop. The goal was the 100, but some unresolvable GI issues caused Christine to decide to drop down to the 100k. Incredible 62 mile accomplishment. 🏃♀️

Amazing and much needed date night with my #1. We enjoyed an incredible Omakase at Neo. The sushi was aged and each nigiri piece was tastier than the previous piece. One dessert course had a crunchy topping which included ants!

Awesome visit to Machu Picchu! It was super special to share this magical place with the family. We got super lucky with no rain either days.

Epic day that started with a visit to a local textile weaving shop where we learned how they make all the local goods from Alpaca, Llama and sheep fur. We then took an incredible hike on the Inca Trail for about 9km with a stop for lunch with the best view and a stop at the waterfall.

11 years ago I stayed in this very same area in Cartagena. Almost every day I ate at this restaurant because they have the best Chimichurri on the planet. I have spoke about it many times over the years. I always compare this Chimichurri to every other one I have eaten. I took the family back to El Menú del Dia tonight and it was exactly how I remembered it! The bonus is Christine loved it as well and we smothered it over all of our food!

Growing up I watched my mom travel the world. In the 80’s she taught classes showing other women how to travel solo safely internationally. Her passion for travel has been passed on to me. I have seen much of world with much more to explore.
When Christine and I went on our first date we had a love for travel in common. We talked endlessly about places we visited all over the world.
I visited Colombia and Peru about 10 years ago and I cannot wait to share both amazing countries with my girls. Machu Picchu is going to be even more special as I am going to stand with my family right where my mom stood! Bring on the llamas!
