Grand Tetons & Yellowstone Summer 2020
We had an amazing trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. The weather was amazing and we enjoyed the RV and nature. We hiked past crystal lakes and jagged peaks, spotted bison and other wildlife, and marveled at the geysers and hot springs. The girls were awestruck by it all. Exploring this magical corner of the country together as a family is something we will never forget.
Road Trip & Lakeside Camping
We drove up from Salt Lake and set up the RV right on the lake. Fishing, campfires, sunsets, a deer walking through camp and a birthday cake celebration in the camper.
Old Faithful & the Grand Tetons
Bison grazing in the fields, Old Faithful erupting right behind the girls and our first big views of the Grand Tetons.
Jenny Lake & Downtown Jackson
The girls climbed out on the rocks at Jenny Lake with the mountains behind them, we hiked along the river and then walked around Jackson and its famous antler arches.
Swimming & Floating String Lake
We blew up the raft and spent the day on String Lake. The water was cold but crystal clear and everyone jumped in!
Snake River Float & the Bison
A float trip down the Snake River with the Tetons in the background, then lots of bison and elk, a stop at a hot spring and a big dinner.
Yellowstone Canyons & Geysers
Into Yellowstone for the canyon overlooks, colorful hot springs and geysers, and more bison of course.
Horseback Riding & Jackson Lake Sunset
Our last day we went horseback riding, had pizza and ice cream in the park, and ended with a beautiful sunset at Jackson Lake.
