We turned our drive out to Utah into a proper adventure. We stopped for picnics, took in sweeping mountain overlooks, and let the girls scooter and hike along the way. We crossed into New Mexico, spotted wildlife roadside, and reunited with the grandparents. Long road trips with kids can be a lot, but the memories are always worth it.
