These pajamas have been in the closest for a while waiting for Ava to get a little bigger. Check out big pimpin Ava in her new pajamas and momma’s sun glasses.

Bubbles always puts a smile on Ava’s face. She looks forward to them in the bath and is starting to try to blow them herself.

Ava and I went to the Shedd Aquarium with Auntie Francine today. We loved roaming around looking at all of the different sea creatures. Ava loved the freedom of going from exhibit to exhibit.

Ava and I went to a mini reunion with our Peterson friends. We went to Pickle’s Playroom and enjoyed the indoors. Ava had not seen Cole, Oskar, and Addison in a long time. We had to play indoors because of the weather.
Ava enjoyed her time with her friends, but wanted to go outside too!

Ava took her first international flight. We flew to Cabo for Marcus and Susanna’s wedding. It took five hours to get there and three on the way back.

Ava loved the pool! We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Resort Sunset Beach and was surrounded by pools. She didn’t care much for the sand on the beach.

Ava saw her first concert at the wedding. Vanilla Ice got the party started! She loved to dance with momma and dada!

What will the next stamp be in Ava’s passport?! Paris?!!

Ava celebrated Julia and Justine’s second birthday today at the Kohl Children’s Museum. It was a costume party. Ava was Yoda and I was Princess Leia.

This evening Ava started standing and walking all by herself without any prodding or helping. Ava turned to us and said “I Got This Momma and Dada” Looks like we will have a little walker joining us in Mexico for Marcus and Susanna’s wedding at the end of the month.

Ava really enjoys spaghetti and all of Mama’s cooking. Tonight she really had a good time eating it.

Our little puddin’ took her first steps yesterday! She has been a speedster with her push cart for many weeks now. Dave and I are looking forward to this next stage. Watch out world because Ava Jacobs is on the move!

The phrase “Time is Flying By” has really shown its face! Summer has passed us by and our angel is 14 months old! We have been to the Farmer’s Market and Emily Oaks Nature Center over the past few days. Dave had fond memories of the nature center. He fished there as a kid!
Ava had a blast at the Farmer’s Market. She cruised in her pink car, ate crossaints, and enjoyed the scenery!

Every day with Ava is a blessing and we are loving each and every moment. We are looking forward to each and every stage. We love you Ava May…

The Jacobs family had a very nice weekend visit to Madison Wisconsin to spend some time with Auntie Amy and Uncle Bryce. We spent the weekend at their new home and Ava and Hoober really enjoyed the suburban lifestyle and enjoyed the house in a quiet neighborhood. We look forward to many more visits and one day having some little cousins to visit as well.

Ava gets so excited each and every day when Dada gets home and Christine recorded it so we can remember forever.

We are not sure if Ava will have a future as a Vet but we do that she loves dogs and especially her dog Hoober.  The get along so well and Hoober is super gentle and very patient with her.

Ava is going to be 14 months old tomorrow and Christine and I continue to cherish each and every day with our little Angel. She continues to make us smile all day with her clapping and hamming it up. Ava loves being outside and she is never ready to come in from walks. Here are a few pictures from the last week.

David is the king of French fries! Ava wanted to know what these French fries were all about. She had a taste of her first fry (baked not fried)!
