The Big Announcement

We made our big announcement Friday: Ava is going to be a big sister this October! She wore her bright pink “I’m the Big Sister” shirt and proudly showed off the ultrasound pictures, even though I’m not sure she fully understood yet what was coming.

She sat in her little blue chair with the long strip of ultrasound photos draped across her lap, then hopped up by the couch to hold them up for the camera with a big grin. We are so excited to grow our family, and Ava is going to be the best big sister.
