Chicago Jacobs

Another wonderful encounter with Santa this year!  We had two celebrations this year.  One in Chicago and the other in Salt Lake.

55 plus degrees in November?!  Of course we’ll spend the entire day outside.  

 Family day was in the outdoors today.  We went for a walk and soaked up this beautiful day!

Harlow is thriving when it comes to her vocabulary.  Elmo, hippo, water, daddy, mommy, Hoober, owl, grandma, apple, up, nose  and a few more words are coming from her mouth.  She also knows how old she is!

 Chatham, MA is where we spent 6 days at the end of September.

We took a ship to Martha’s Vineyard, a boat to see the seals, had a family photo shoot, drove up to Provincetown and ate lobstah rolls and chowda!

The weather was sunny and cool and we took advantage of it by spending as much time as possible in the outdoors.
Ava took her first bike trailer ride in the Provincetown.  We were lucky enough to see the whales from the shore.  We hiked up and through the sand dunes and had many great laughs.

We celebrated Harlow’s doljanchi while on this vacation.  She went straight for the stethoscope when it was time to predict her future.  We may be calling her Dr. Jacobs soon!

Here come the top two teeth! Although this girl can eat without them just fine!

Ava was treated to her first mani and pedi at 675 Nails in Skokie. I have a feeling she will always want to join me when I treat myself!  

This day happened to fall on the same day she pee peed in the potty for the first time!

Apples, donuts and animals galore!

Harlow’s first apple picking experience was a success.  She loved everything the orchard had and then some.

Ava couldn’t have been happier also.

Grandma joined us this year and we ate our way through the place.

Both kids crashed as soon as we buckled them in!

Next up is Didier Farm for pumpkins!

We took the kids to a playground across the street from the Glen and we had a fun time.   We grabbed some dinner from Bravo and enjoyed a view of the little lake on a gorgeous night.

Our little girls are growing up so fast. Christine and I love them so much and we are enjoying every fun and hard moment of parenthood.

There is no stopping H now.  She is officially crawling!

She is so chatty and recently has started saying “this” and “uh oh!”

Love it!!

H has her second tooth!  It appeared a few days after her first.  She’s using them well to eat all of her food.

Cousin Jasmine turned three and we were there to party!
