Summer 2016 in Michigan City, Indiana, with family and friends. Betsy’s birthday, Ava’s birthday week, beach days on Lake Michigan and blueberry picking. Sun, sand, family and blueberries. One of our favorite summer trips ever!
Betsy’s Birthday at the House
We kicked off the trip celebrating Betsy’s birthday at the house. Cake, candles, presents and the whole crew singing. It was Ava’s birthday week too, so it turned into a double celebration for our newly 4 year old, who loved every minute of being the center of attention.
Beach Days on Lake Michigan
Long days on the beach at Lake Michigan. Sandcastles, splashing in the waves, floating in that clear water and lots of family pictures with everyone.
Popsicles & the Tube Slide
Popsicles on the deck and then non-stop rides down the big tube slide with the girls.
Blueberry Picking
Our favorite tradition of all, blueberry picking! The girls in their pink sun hats with tin pails in hand, eating almost as many berries as they picked.
