Chatham September 2015
Fun visit to Chatham and Harlow’s Dol! Six days on Cape Cod with beaches, bike rides, sand dunes, a trip to Martha’s Vineyard and a beautiful family photo shoot.
Arriving in Chatham
We flew out to Cape Cod with Grandma and settled into our cottage in Chatham. Lobster rolls and chowda at the Chatham Squire, rocking chairs on the porch and hydrangeas everywhere.

Beach Walks & the Lighthouse
Walks along the beach by the Chatham Lighthouse. Ava in her bright rainbow jacket running all over the sand.

Biking the Cape
We rented bikes and Ava took her first ride in the bike trailer along the bike trails and the water.

Bay Beach Day
Calm water on the bay, collecting shells and Harlow getting her toes wet for the first time.

Sand Dunes
Hiking up and through the sand dunes in Provincetown. Lots of great laughs and Harlow practicing her walking in the sand.

Train Depot & Playground
The old Chatham train depot, the red caboose and the playground right next door.

Family Photo Shoot
Our family photo shoot on the beach at sunset. Matching outfits, Cape Cod sweatshirts and Harlow with her doll.

Harlow’s Doljanchi
We celebrated Harlow’s doljanchi while on vacation. Balloons, cake and Harlow in her hanbok. She went straight for the stethoscope when it was time to predict her future. We may be calling her Dr. Jacobs soon!

Ferry to Martha’s Vineyard
We took the ferry over to Martha’s Vineyard, walked around the colorful gingerbread cottages and had ice cream.

Alpacas & Edgartown
Feeding the alpacas at the farm and strolling around Edgartown.

Seal Watching by Boat
A boat ride out to see the seals with everyone bundled up in life jackets. The girls loved the ride and we even got to see the whales from shore.
