Camping at Eleven Mile

Fun camping trip before the weather went south and we almost got blown away in the storm. Eleven Mile was beautiful that weekend: big blue skies, puffy white clouds and the whole reservoir sparkling in front of us.

We spent the day out on the boat fishing, soaking up the sun in our floppy hats and life jackets, and checking out the bait bucket. Back at camp, the girls had the open meadow all to themselves, and the sunset over the water was one of the prettiest we have seen in Colorado.

Then the clouds rolled in fast. The wind picked up and we were holding onto the tent, but the storm left us with an amazing double rainbow stretched across the whole sky. Arms up, big smiles, and a camping trip none of us will forget.
