Jacobs Family Trip To Asia!
We had an amazing time visiting Asia with a stop in Hong Kong, the Philippines and a couple days in Seoul. Volcanoes, waterfalls, whale sharks, tarsiers, palaces and so much food. Incredible trip and it was so nice to spend time with Ojay, Yang and kids and Eric in Seoul.
Hong Kong 🇭🇰
Off to Asia!
Christmas Eve we were off! A long flight to Hong Kong with the girls loving every minute of it, dim sum in the lounge and then on to Manila where we jumped right in the pool.

Philippines 🇵🇭
Taal Volcano by Boat & Horseback
Our first big adventure was a boat ride across Taal Lake and a horseback ride up Taal Volcano to look down into the crater lake. Fresh coconuts on the way too.

Tondo Gift Giving
The girls got to learn what it is like to give back and help some less fortunate children. We packed gift bags, played games and shared a meal, and the community was filled with laughter, love and warmth. We thank Ojay Reantaso and Yang Puzon Reantaso for helping put this together and allowing me to contribute for many years.

Exploring Manila
Exploring Manila with Ojay and Yang: the old city walls and cannons at Intramuros, feeding the cats, a fish foot spa and lots of good food.

Cebu Pool Days & Parasailing
We flew down to Cebu for pool days at the resort, giant donut and flamingo floats, sweets and a parasailing ride high over the ocean.

New Year’s Eve in Cebu
Ringing in 2020 in Cebu with noisemakers and a big New Year’s Eve party!

Kawasan Falls Canyoneering
New Year’s Day we went canyoneering and swimming at Kawasan Falls. The bluest water we have ever seen and the girls loved every minute.

Swimming with Whale Sharks in Oslob
One of the most amazing experiences ever. We swam with the whale sharks in Oslob, then spent the afternoon on a beautiful white sand beach.

Bohol: Tarsiers & the Chocolate Hills
A ferry to Bohol to see the tiny tarsiers and the famous Chocolate Hills.

Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷
Hanbok & Gyeongbokgung Palace
Then it was on to Seoul! The girls and Christine dressed up in hanbok and we explored Gyeongbokgung Palace. It was cold but so beautiful.

Cat Café, Markets & Street Food
A cat café, bustling markets, Korean corn dogs and street food, and a fun night with Eric before heading home.
