Mardi Gras in Galveston has become a fun family tradition. The girls lined the parade route catching beads, got their faces painted, and treated themselves to giant caramel apples. Christine and I feasted on turkey legs and funnel cake, because it would not be a festival without them. Colorful floats, sticky fingers, and happy kids made for a perfect day.
