Disneyland worked its magic on all of us. We posed in front of the castle, the girls got their faces painted and clutched balloon animals, and we refueled with pizza between rides. Watching Ava and Harlow soar on the Dumbo ride, grinning ear to ear, was the highlight of our whole California trip.
