With Mom off on a well-deserved girls’ trip, the kids and I held down the fort and made a weekend of it. We enjoyed a big dinner out with the grandparents, hit the boardwalk for rides and swings, and treated ourselves to ice cream and smoothies. Ava and Harlow kept me on my toes, but we had a blast.
