We surprised the girls with a St. Patrick’s Day trip to the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, all decked out in our green shirts. Ava and Harlow loved perching on the big metal butterfly bench and wandering the leafy garden rooms. I carried Harlow through the exhibits while Christine kept up with our busy Ava.
