SLC December 2017

Holiday trip to Utah! We spent Christmas and New Year’s with Grandma and Grandpa Lim and the whole family in Salt Lake City, with plenty of snow, cousins and holiday traditions.

Snow, Gingham and Santa

The girls played in the fresh snow on the deck, then dressed up in matching gingham dresses for photos by the tree and a visit with Santa. Grandpa Lim got lots of cuddle time with the grandkids too.

Christmas Eve

The girls performed in their little white tutus at the church service and posed by the tree in matching maroon velvet dresses.

Christmas Morning

On Christmas morning we all wore our festive pajamas and opened gifts together, cousins and grandparents included.

Christmas Day at Fort Frosty

One of our favorite Utah traditions is Christmas Day tubing at Fort Frosty, followed by hot cocoa in the cozy yurt.

Snowy Canyon Hike

The next day we bundled up for a family hike through a beautiful snowy canyon.

Hogle Zoo and New Year’s Eve

We visited the lions at Hogle Zoo on a sunny winter day and rang in 2018 at home with Grandma and Grandpa.

Cousin Time

The girls loved helping care for baby cousin Emily, playing dress-up as princesses and splashing at the outdoor splash pad.
