Nicaragua & Costa Rica December 2018
Amazing trip that started in Nicaragua and finished in Costa Rica with tons of fun and adventures in between. Ziplining through the jungle, a villa high above the ocean, looking down into an active volcano, infinity pools, horseback rides on the beach and ringing in 2019 in Costa Rica.
Nicaragua 🇳🇮
Ziplining Through the Jungle
Nicaragua gave us the most thrilling adventure yet, ziplining through the jungle canopy. Harnessed up in our helmets, we soared over the treetops and the girls were braver than I ever expected. Harlow even flew upside down!
Our Villa Above the Ocean
Our villa sat high above the ocean with an infinity pool and the most incredible views. We floated on giant rafts, rode the side-by-side up the hills, watched the sunsets and the girls climbed all the way up the stairs to the treehouse lookout.
Masaya Volcano & Granada
We drove up to Masaya Volcano and looked right down into the smoking crater, then wandered the colorful streets of Granada and grabbed lunch and fresh drinks.
Costa Rica 🇨🇷
Into Costa Rica: Beaches & Tide Pools
Then we crossed into Costa Rica. Smoothies on the drive, exploring the tide pools and rocky beaches, and a sunset dinner on the sand.
Infinity Pool Days
Lazy days at the infinity pool overlooking the bay, swimming with the girls and big slices of chocolate cake.
New Year’s Eve on Horseback
New Year’s Eve we went horseback riding along the beach. The girls rode their own horses and loved every minute.
New Year’s Day: Horses & Jet Skis
We started 2019 the same way, back on the horses along the beach, then I took the jet ski out on the bay before one last dinner together.
