We headed down to Galveston for the Mardi Gras parade, and the girls came home draped in beads. Ava and Harlow caught strand after colorful strand, got their faces painted as a butterfly and Wonder Woman, and munched snacks with Christine while we watched the floats roll by. Christine and I loved soaking up the festive energy together.
