Jungle Island

Birds were absolutely everywhere at Jungle Island. We each got a turn feeding the parrots and macaws, and Ava couldn’t get enough of the big blue-and-gold and scarlet ones perched right next to us. She giggled every time one hopped closer to her hand.

We explored every type of animal exhibit we could find, and Ava leaned over the railings to get a closer look at everything. Ava gave a few strangers a good laugh when she started beating her chest and making ape noises the second we walked past the monkeys. On the way out, Daddy even held a baby alligator for a picture at the Jungle Island sign.
