Didier Farms Lincolnshire, IL

September 21, 2014Daily PostMore from 2014

It’s pumpkin time! We took a drive out to Didier Farms and picked out our pumpkins for the season. It was a cool day that finally felt like autumn. Ava rode the rides and hopped on the ponies twice, and we enjoyed apple donut holes while we were at it. Next year we’ll be picking pumpkins with Harlow too.

Rides And Ponies

Ava was fearless on every ride. She drove the big blue truck, cruised in the sparkly purple car, spun around in the bug ride, and flew down the giant slide with Dad. The pony rides were her favorite though, so of course she went twice!

Picking Pumpkins

Then it was off to the pumpkin patch. Ava checked out every pumpkin she could find, climbed right on top of a few, and measured up against the How Tall This Fall pumpkin for 2014. With baby Harlow on the way, this was our last pumpkin trip as a family of three. So fun!
