Ava’s 1st Bites

We’ve been waiting so patiently and excitedly to start giving Ava something besides breast milk, and the doctor finally gave us the green light this week at her 4-month visit. 🥄

Christine whipped up some organic steel-cut oatmeal, and we propped Ava up in her pink Bumbo seat at the kitchen counter for her very first few bites. She opened wide, made the funniest faces as she figured out this new thing called food, and even tried to help by grabbing the spoon and gnawing on her fingers afterward.

It was exciting and unbelievably cute. We can’t wait to keep sharing meals with her and turn her into a good, healthy eater just like her parents! ❤️
