Hanukkah & Christmas Time

This time of year is my favorite kind of chaos — menorah candles glowing on one side of the room and the tree lit up on the other. The girls decorated gingerbread houses with more frosting on their fingers than on the roof, and my mother-in-law’s brisket disappeared in about ten minutes flat. Somewhere between the dreidel spins and the wrapping paper explosion, I just stood back and soaked it in.
