New York City was a whirlwind of firsts for the girls. They devoured big floppy slices of pizza, treated themselves to ice cream, and rode the subway clutching their beach pails. We spent an afternoon at Coney Island splashing in the waves and caught a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty from the ferry. What a city, what a trip.
